Bulk Article Creation: Generate 50 Posts Overnight (Pro)

Generating articles one at a time works. Generating 50 overnight while you sleep works better. AIWU’s Bulk Article Creation lets you queue up dozens of topics and have the AI write them all automatically — as drafts ready to review and publish.

Before You Start

You’ll need:

  • Single article generation working (First Article guide)
  • A list of topics or keywords to generate
  • Time needed: 10 minutes setup · generation runs in background
  • Plan required: Pro

What you get: Submit 50 topics before bed → wake up to 50 draft articles, fully formatted, saved in WordPress, ready to review.

Step 1: Prepare Your Topic List

Create a list of topics — one per line, or as a CSV file with a column for topics (and optionally keywords, categories, language).

Simple format (one per line):

How to train a Labrador puppy in winter
Best dog food for senior dogs
Dog grooming tips for long-haired breeds
Signs your dog needs a vet visit
How often should you walk a Border Collie

CSV format (with more control):

topic,keyword,category,language
"How to train a Labrador puppy","labrador training","Dog Training","en"
"Best food for senior dogs","senior dog food","Nutrition","en"

💡 Tip: Specific topics produce better articles. “Dog food for senior Labrador with joint problems” → better article than “dog food”. The extra 5 seconds per topic is worth it.

Step 2: Open the Bulk Generator

Go to WordPress Admin → AI Copilot → Content Generation.

Look for the Bulk Generation tab or button (Pro feature).

Step 3: Import Your Topic List

Choose one import method:

  • Paste topics: Click in the bulk input area and paste your topic list (one per line)
  • Upload CSV: Click Upload CSV and select your file

What you should see: Your topics appear as a queue — each row is one article to be generated. You can see the count (“47 articles queued”).

Step 4: Configure Generation Settings

Set options that apply to all articles in this batch:

  • Language: Select the language for all articles
  • Length: Medium (800–1200 words) is recommended for bulk. Long takes more time and API credits.
  • Tone: Informative, Conversational, or Professional
  • Post Status: Set to Draft — always review AI content before publishing
  • Post Category: Assign a default category for all generated posts
  • Author: Select which WordPress user is listed as author
⚠️ Always use Draft status for bulk. Never set bulk generation to auto-publish. Review AI content before it goes live — the AI occasionally produces inaccurate information that needs human review.

Step 5: Start Generation

Click Start Bulk Generation.

What happens: AIWU processes articles sequentially, one at a time, respecting your AI provider’s rate limits. A progress bar shows completed / total. You can close the browser tab — generation continues in the background.

Expected speed: Approximately 30–90 seconds per article depending on length and provider. 50 articles takes roughly 30–75 minutes total.

Step 6: Review and Publish

When generation completes, go to WordPress Admin → Posts → Drafts. You’ll see all your new AI articles.

For each article, do a quick review:

  • Check the opening paragraph — is it relevant and specific?
  • Scan for any factual claims that need verification
  • Add your own examples, quotes, or personal perspective
  • Add a featured image
  • Publish when satisfied
✅ Batch complete? What used to take a week of writing now sits in your drafts folder ready to review. Even at 5 minutes review per article, 50 articles takes 4 hours instead of 50 hours.

Common Issues

Problem: “Generation stopped in the middle of the batch.”
Fix: Most likely a rate limit or API credit issue. Check your provider’s dashboard for quota. Completed articles are saved — you can resume the unfinished items. See API Key Errors guide.

Problem: “Some articles look identical or very similar.”
Fix: Make your topics more specific and distinct. Add more context per topic in the CSV. Increase the AI temperature setting if available.

Problem: “Articles are in the wrong category.”
Fix: Add a category column to your CSV with the exact WordPress category name, or select the correct default category in Step 4.
